Updated Algorithm for the Management of Restless Legs Syndrome Diagnose: chronic vs intermittent RLS (no need for polysomnography) Test Iron levels (& Rx if) Consider: remove exacerbators; walking/massage/heat; carbidopa/ levodopa; pramipexole or ropinirole; low potency opioids.
